    Hi,
Sharing with you all an image of the Sloth Bear quenching his/her thirst at a water hole in Ranthambor. I have seen this behaviour for the first time and was glad I could get the reflection (couldn't do much about the mud within the reflection though)

Hi Sanjeev, great to see more images of this ferocious of animals being posted.

Personally I don't feel the IQ is as good as the previous one, but that's just me The mud in the water is what it is, no worries, but on this occasion I might cut into the shadow, having less at the foot. I also feel you could darken the water and get some more detail from the baked mud which will help. In addition, some more Shadow & Darks too, the 'posting' can take it, this will get some richness back into the fur.

    A cool sitting, nice one.

HI Sanjeev -- That must be some sighting , rarely get to see them in open and quenching thirst ! I agree with Steve especially reg the IQ and the crop but enjoyed viewing this image for the simple reason that these are quite elusive and shy creatures.

Hi Sanjeev - Great to see the sloth bear again and seeing it drinking is a bonus. The image looks very bright and thin, lacking depth to the tones and colors. I am ok with the comp as presented. I took the image into PS and had a go, applying some TK lumo masks and other selective curves adjustments to the bg and the water. I also added some blacks selectively to the blacks of the fur but masking out the darkest areas. Done quickly, just to give you an idea of the direction.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Hi Sanjeev ...i think this is even more a bit special from the sloth bear .

Very nice to see the reflection and the that tiny eye. I do agree with Rachel on tone and color and think she pushed the image into the right direction , a matter of taste how far you go , always a question of taste .
I bet you would have loved a lower POV .....me too.

Keep them coming , at least it si cool you got the bear out in the open.
