Nice image here Joe, I like that we can see the tail trailing flat on the water. Good colours, subtle texture in the water, comp. It may be an illusion, but it feels like the image could use a tiny bit of CW rotation.
These birds are almost impossible to approach in NY so this image is one I really want. Nice classic pose of the duck on the water. Maybe there is a bit more detail that you could get out of the blacks.
