    I think a bit less sky would improve the composition. But that's my personal taste.
    I love the three layers on the BG and the perfect exposure and wing positions and angle of the bird.

    Perfect down stroke position of the wings, nice three tier background, good exposure. Something appears a little funky with the background above the bird as it follows the shape of the bird. Thank you for sharing, Ray.

    That's just perfect timing I guess. The mountain's peak follow the shape of the bird on that part, creating the darker halo. I didn't touch the BG at all in PP. I could perhaps clone it out, I will give it a try and see how it works out.

    Very nice Ray. I like how the BG 'fits in' with the bird. Nice detail and flight pose. Lovely colours throughout.

    Perfect flight pose! Great light and colours. I too like the BG a lot, but I would have preferred the bird's face and neck fully clear above the mountain line. I love those trailing legs and feet!
