Hi folks another one from Helgoland .....just recently taken .
This pup followed mum into the water ....to have a short swim in the shallow surf , mum was charmed by a bull meanwhile so this little guy left them .
Here you can see the pup on its way back to the beach .
    Hope you like it

You've captured the wet fur here well with a nice clean background complimenting the subject. I do quite like the composition but would be curious to see a wider shot if you took it of the whole pup.

Nice detail here. Like the low angle and the composition.

Nice palette of colors in the yellows and grays in this image, together with the details in the profile.

Again, just works Andreas and the BKG provides a great separation between the two, isolating the subject nicely.

Hi Andreas - Excellent low pov. It seems this most recent trip was fruitful despite the new restrictions. Nice detail and interesting to see the yellow tones of the fur. The comp works well too. Overall, very nicely done.

Andreas this is absolutely brilliant! The fur is so realistic just brilliant.
(I had another look at Capture 1...then I binned it - gee whiz it is very deep, I found myself losing the will to live after 15 min!)

Thanks so much folks , glad you like this one ....much appreciated .

Simon.... no full body shot when the pup emerged from the sea , been too close . And no time or option to change lens or kit.

Rachel .... in some cases there has been options to get around the restrictions ....... but always keeping an eye open . Depending on the age of the pup and the individual coloration ,the yellow is more or less intense .

Jon ..... i think i have not binned it , and for me C1 is no longer a miracle , with version 11 even a little step better in terms of local adjustments . The rest is basically the same from my usage POV , for other folks there are some more useful additions. But i am still learning how to squeeze out more from C1 .

    Cheers and thanks again Andreas

Beautiful capture Andreas, I am loving this! Wonderful colours, textures, superb composition and perfect HA from the seal. Love the pebbles too, let us not forget that smooth BG, oh it just works, can we have more please

I shall write you an email with news from my side of the woods very soon. Thought I'd add my thoughts on a few images here tonight because I suffer from separation anxiety if I do not get my BPN time in the evenings LOL. Feeling so much better now

    Have a super evening Boetie,

PS. You still haven't told me what Father Christmas placed in your grey socks this December, was it photographic equipment?

Andreas, I thought your last seal pup was one of your best... but this one is on par or better. The POV and colour palette are lovely and I need say nothing on tone, colour and detail as they are all as good as it can get, I feel. Really wonderful.
