Hi all, thanks for your comments on my earlier posts. Haseeb, since you asked I did try to get some head shots with the 500mm. Many times I was too close for the 500mm. Here is one where I was anticipating the tiger to emerge from the lovely fall foliage and he did peep out to give me a pose. This is almost full frame. I liked the way the foliaged made a nice natural frame for the awesome subject.Couldn't help the legs but I thought the comp worked here. What do you guys think?

Well done, in doing what you did in the above comment, the image 'rocks' Sanjeev.

Love everything about it and the loss of legs isn't an issue for me, jut trim that light vertical branch creeping in on the LH trim edge 5mm if that, but no deal breaker, just creates a better, cleaner edge for me. You should be well pleased with this frame.

Hi Sanjeev - Well done in anticipating the appearance. I really like this and the way the orange leaves complement the tiger. Colors, details and sharpness all look good. No problem with the missing legs here either.

Hi Sanjeev -- Superbly done ! Loved the tight frame with the Tiger peeping out of the foliage. Excellent details and the IQ is superb. Lovely colours and lighting has been nicely handled as well. Loved it .

Hi Sanjeev , lovely image of this great looking tiger .
Stunning fine detail and the crop does work for me .
If this was mine i might drop the exp ever so slightly , for more depth across the range . Having the lighting in mind i would expect more darker shadows as the light does look already being on the harsh side .
Colors looking a bit flat for my taste .
Hope that other comments counting the same .....not only when they come from the mods

    TFS Andreas

Sanjeev, I think this is your best tiger shot so far. The framing by the foliage including the foreground grass is perfect. Nice tack sharp detail which is up to your usual high standard. Colour and tone look great although I could imagine a slight drop in overall brightness/exposure. The sideways glance rounds it off nicely.
