    Hi all,
A head shot of a treelike at Ranthambor national park in Rajasthan. These were pretty tame and flocking to the vehicles at the gate entrance of the park (looking for quick bites)

Hi Sanjeev, good detail on the head, and well exposed on the darker plumage. We have a great view of the beak. I like the pastel pinks to the BG, and I would try and lighten the eye a touch.

I love the colours, the sharp face, and neat BG. I love the subtle streaking texture on the bill, very nice. When photographing tight portraits like this I always try to add more dof, light permitting (which looks like you had enough of here). This permits the subject to be sharp all the way through, right down to the shoulder.

Lovely shot Sanjeev, I would try to lift the darkest plumage just a tad more.

Beautiful Image. When the subject is really close, you need to stop down to get more depth of Field

Ranthambor is definitely on my list for my next visit to India.

    Well done.

    Thanks for sharing.
