    Hello everyone !

A bit busy these days due to work as well as festivities but thought post an image before the year ends.

An image of a tiger stalking its prey on a pleasant morning in Bandhavgarh.

DPP 4.5, CS6, WB, reduced the contrast , colour balance, selective colour, levels , NR , sharpening , cropped from the bottom , top and Lhs corner.

Canon 1DX MK II, Canon 500mm f4 IS II, HH.

    1/2500 sec; f/5.6; ISO 4000.

All your comments and suggestions are most welcome and highly appreciated.

I'm being spoilt with great tiger images of late! Great moment captured Haseeb - the shaft of light illuminating the tiger really lifts this and works well with your composition. I like the hunting stare and walking pose with one paw off the ground too. The head looks a little soft to me - wonder if a touch of USM would help here. Nice work.

Hi Haseeb - Beautiful light and I really like the way the shaft of light leads the viewer in the same direction as the tiger's gaze. Nice stalking pose with the leg lifted. I did remove the Theme prefix as this is more a behavioral image than a head shot/portrait.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Hi Haseeb, what a lovely moment and capture. Great pose and the light works oh so well here, especially just lighting the side of the face. Techs look good but may have gone for a tad more DoF. Personally I feel the NR is a bit too heavy and you have lost a bit of detail in the FG ie the track IMHO.

Keep me posted on how things are going on the gear, hope you have resolved the earlier issues.

Try and get some on the dam too.

Haseeb, my friend, happy new year. A stunning image to end the year on,it's made by the light for me it is utterly wonderful how it strikes the Tiger, the intensity of stare and raised foot almost like she has frozen mid stalk brings so much tension to the shot.

Fabulous Hasseeb I wouldn't change framing or crop at all

This chap is a stalker of note, Haseeb! Love the framing here and the light is superb. Nice POV. Super timing, I especially like the expression on the tiger's face, the intent, the search...

I agree with Steve above re. noise reduction, I would go easy on the FG. Otherwise the colours, tonality, and overall PP work looks good my friend. I wish I had just one tiger image... But for now I am happy to look at yours, let us have some more please

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
