Bring seeds, they swarm. We'd had a bit of snow that I wanted to leave on the perch. The RAW was a bit underexposed, so apart from pulling up the curve, I did some lightening work on the head and eye area. Also had to remove a blue/cyan colour cast that resulted from the underexposure. Very slight crop for composition.

I like the pose, details, sharpness and composition. I would tone down the snow on the upper part of the perch and if this branch is part of a setup I would use a smaller diameter for the Chickadees. Great job on getting this image because I know they don't stay put for long.

Really nice details and pose here Jake. Blacks and whites look great. Agree with Jim about toning down the snow on the perch. Thank you for sharing.

Here's a reprocess with +2 black added to the whites in a selective colour layer, then masked off to apply the change only to the snow on the perch. Also did a small burn on the brightest patch of snow at top left. Any better?

One of my favorite birds and nicely captured. I like the snowy perch and high key look. I do wish the perch was just a bit smaller. The RP adds for me. TFS

I like this one more than the other one (I commented on). Nice!
