    Snowy Owls are once again appearing along the eastern US coast. This is cropped quite a bit as the bird was a good distance away. I sharpened the bird and lightened some of the small darker areas. All wildlife boundaries were respected.

    Manual mode, HH, 560.00 mm (EF400 f/5.6 + 1.4 ext.) f/8.0, 1/2500, ISO 400, eval. metering

    Carolyn, I sure do envy you guys on the east coast this time of year, beautiful owl.
    I might loosen up the crop a bit to help with the softness and add a bit more black or contrast to make the image pop a bit more.
    I might also move the image up in frame to loose the dark spot in the BG on top or go with more of a pano crop.
