    From last winter in Algonquin Park. These guys ares o much fun to photograph!

    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/320s., f/6.3, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, almost FF.

    Hi Daniel - What a cutie! I love the pose with it peeking out from behind the tree. Beautiful detail on the face and nice control of the blacks and whites. The bit of snow takes it up a notch. Love this one.

    Such beautiful little creatures, so full of expression, and this peeping pose those the cheeky side of them off perfectly. the loose framing and signature techs finish this one off superbly for me

    Love martens.. Don't get as many chances in Yellowstone as you seem to get back there. Very fine image here! Love the snowflakes on head

    It is a beautiful image Daniel. Wonderful composition and exposure and pose. The snow on the fur definitely adds.

    Terrific shot, with inquisitive pose, good detail, touch of snow. I should visit the Wildlife forum more often.
