    The jay was startled by the shutter and dropped his acorn!

    Nice detail on the bird. The background is nice as well. The acorn is quite comical.

    Nice one Jon, now what were we saying about Acorns and fragments?

    Like the light and complimentary BKG, techs look good and well worth the SS here. Would have liked more snow in the scene, but short lived sadly.

    Saw a corker of an image like that, but in the snow, shot about 8 inches above the snow as the jays hoped around, the Reds & Greens of the apples peppered the snow nicely adding some creative colour.

    Hi Keith, the jay picked up the acorn and then dropped it when it heard the shutter, I have one in the bill - post later.
