Another from Laguna Seca Ranch last month; shot from a blind under less than ideal conditions. Cropped bottom and left, added a bit of canvas top and right. Love the eyebrows on these guys.

For 'less than ideal' conditions, Bill, this looks very good. Great looking bird (but what is that around the front of its eye?), excellent perch and background lifted by those rain streaks. Colour and tone looks great with a hint of bluish metallic sheen on the black breast and good detail across the rest of the bird. Composition works well for me. No nits from me on this one.

I like this one better than your previous post. Nice pose, perch and composition. The rain adds to the image. Thank you for sharing.

Good one, Bill. Great angle for those eyebrows. Like the cactus perch, and the rain adds to the image.

Great job in some tough conditions, Bill. Good detail for the such low light. The perch is great and the eyebrows are really cool.
