Lovely light with a nice HA and catch light.I really like the color ogf the water in the BG.
Very appealing and I always like the "sitting in the clouds" look of the OOF sand in FG,

Super cool perspective here. I also really like the bird in heaven type of shots. I think the colors need work. The whites are very yellowish gray and the blacks in the back of the head are blocked.

Lovely image. Always nice to see this type of photos with terns. The whites look good in my monitor. I do agree with the black on the back of the head but I can live with that if it was my image :)

Nicely done John! I love the framing of the oof sand, and the composition is well balanced.

Great image, John. So much to like here. The OOF foreground is excellent and composition works really well. I also like the way the back of the bird is almost blending into the background. Colour seems fine to me and tones also work. I don't mind blocked blacks if there are in areas where there is not going to be any real detail, as is the case here with the back part of the head OOF. If mine, I'd have aimed for a touch more DOF so the bill was in full focus.
