    Tripod Canon 1Dx Canon 500mm f4 L IS II & 2xTC III Auto ISO 5000 (+1/3) 1/3200 sec f8
    ACR + PSCC (1 poit of black added to Blacks in Selective colour.
    I managed to get a few shots of this little fella I quite liked the small grasses on this one.

    There was a 45mph wind so I am not sure who was struggling most me or the wagtail!

    Cool looking bird never heard of one before. The raised foot is nice and the head turn. Good job getting a sharp one with that wind.

    I have often removed the hood of my lens in strong winds- it really helps and there is no difference in IQ if the day is cloudy IMHO.
    As you say, the grasses framing this little guy are what make the image unique. Nice, to have the foot up.
    If this is not a big crop I would consider going tighter.
