A fine image, Will. Detail is excellent (as usual) and your processing has rendered the tone and colour very nicely. Great pose and 'inquisitive' head angle too. I'd be inclined to take a bit off the bottom of the frame to around the top of the blurry foreground mound. Thanks for sharing. Do you have any on the snow? I'd love to see them.

I like the cocked head and the bit of snow in front of the bird.Good IQ,
Conditions, as you mention, were a bit dark but reflect situation nicely. I might still be tempted to brighten the bird slightly.
I would crop up slightly from the bottom of frame to get rid of OOF stuff.

Lovely shot with an inquisitive pose and beautiful tundra setting. Agree with others about a slight crop.

Love it Will I like the setting.... and one up on mine you got ice!
I wonder if the bird could benefit from a very small tweak, I made a selection of the bird then ->Levels then moved the gamma to 1.1-1.13 WDYT??
