A fine image, John. Excellent detail, tone and colour and near perfect background. The only thing I'd do is remove the oof dark blob in the top left, but a very minor issue.

Very nice portrait with a great background, in what must have been quite low light.

Hi John - For me this is one of the best that you have posted. The tones and colors look good. The comp and dof work well. Nice complementary bg too. Yes, you could even out the bg if you are so inclined but not a deal breaker for me. The only thing I might do if it was mine is back off on the sharpening just slightly. Nice one.

Absolutely gorgeous sorry I am being repetitive but my first reaction was that this is one if not the best post you have made.

Hi John, I would echo Andreas's feedback, but also watch your Contrast/Clarity.

Wonderful portrait Jon, you must be really pleased with this!

Nice colours and tonality, good detail, framing is great. Agree with Andreas and Steve, a little contrasty in places (eg. tips of the ears), easy fix if you like. Subject stands out so nicely against the BG, lovely head angle too.

I certainly enjoyed viewing, one of your best images from what I have seen - very well done

Looking forward to more from you - what's next?

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
