I loved how this lady slowly drifted by in dark-coloured water with a few autumn reflections. Taken from a higher vantage point that usual, for me

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/200s., f/4, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, FF, a few flecks in the water removed via spot healing tool., darkened the pupil, lifted the slight shadow under the chin.

Sound like you didn't want to get your camera wet here, Daniel! More seriously, I think the POV works fine for this. The colour on the water is really gorgeous and intense. However, the bird looks a bit pale to me. Darkening the whole frame would make the water even more intense and bring out some richer tone and colour on the bird, I feel - but the caveat that I don't know this bird species.

Love the dark green water which this POV captures nicely. Also captures that bluish color on the head. I had never realized that the woodie hen had that blue patch.

Lovely lady, nice tranquil setting. I like this POV as I use it all the time, smiles broadly. Thank you for sharing, Daniel.
