    Hi all,

Another chickadee taken using a feeder setup today. Cropped about 15%, cloned out a second catchlight, some NR on the BG, and sharpened. Had a blast doing these setups and can't wait to give it another go.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/2000 ISO 1600 f/6.3

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

Nice shot Alex. I like the pose and the background. The perch is really nice also but it may be just a little big for the bird. Nice job on the exposure revealing good detail in the dark head. Well done

Setups are really fun. You did well. Chickadees are rather tame so you could have moved in a bot more (unless you also had some bigger birds coming in). The perch works for me. Had the BG been a bit more distant you would have had a bit more smoother result on it, especially in lower right corner. Were you pointing down towards the ground?

Thanks all -- really appreciate it. Daniel, I was pointing the lens down so probably should've put this perch a bit higher for more isolation then. I was hoping for a woodpecker but no luck. Excited to give this a go with more of a winter feel in a month or so.
