    Default Northern Shovler at Last Light

    This image was taken in Bosque Del Apache, Crane Pools at sunset time.

    I went for something different using strong side lighting on the eye of the bird.

    Nikon D500, 500mm f/4
    ISO 800, f/7.1, 1/1000 sec
    Manual Mode, Matrix Metering

    Post Processing:-
    Cloned couple of distracting black spots from the water
    Unsharpen Mask on the eye
    Noise Reduction, Cropped a little at the bottom.

    Beautiful eye and light. Looks like the duck is swimming away from you and I'd prefer the other way around, also I found the sticks coming from the water a little distracting. I like the low POV. Thank you for sharing Krishna.
