    Default Solo Wilson's Snipe

Image from last weekend. It was already mid-morning before I managed to get some images of a group of Wilson's Snipes. It was a bright, cloudless day so the lighting was already pretty intense. There was another bird in front of this one that I had to clone a little of the tail out of the image.

A species I have never even been able to get close to! You have good details and sharpness on the Snipe. I do think the blue is a bit too saturated and the crop is too tight. If you do wish to go with a tight crop I would suggest lowering the bird a bit in the frame. Also the image needs a bit of clockwise rotation.

Raybel is spot on. Pretty much exactly what I thought when I viewed the image.

Great comments above, I'd add that the bird is a bit too large in the frame. sharp with good details, wish the water was clam

Good comments and suggestions above. Nice and sharp, and looks like the snipe was rather comfortable with your presence.

Thanks for the suggestions. I can't do much about the tightness of the crop because a bird in front of it. I did a fair amount of removal as is.
