Hi Jon - A simple portrait of the nursing pair. There seems to be a red cast overall but you were there. In an ideal world you would have the tall grasses throughout without the oof greens at the fg edge.

Beautiful work Jon. The separation of animals from background is excellent. I love the rich, sumptuous tones on the animals. Without knowing these animals I wonder if they could go even richer than presented but that's really nit picking. The simplicity of the foreground and background, the pale and muted tones and colours make this a stand out for me. Unfortunate about those few bushes in the foreground. This is one time where I'd be seriously tempted to clone them out.

Dear Jon,
Lovely capture of this mother and calf, nice HA from both and their positioning within the frame is excellent.
No nits from me, apart from the need to eliminate the green vegetation in the FG: I just feel this would be perfect without it
Love the patient look from mom and tranquility of the scene, a very pleasant frame overall and I truly enjoyed viewing, thank you so much for sharing!
Kind regards,

Thanks very much everyone. It’s a funny old world, you didn’t like the vegetation at the base but I like it.

Really like the simplicity of this one Jon. I would loose the FG grasses for a strong backdrop/framing of the subjects and even go a bit tighter on the LH side & above.
One of the nicer frames from the trip for me Jon.
