This friendly fella followed me around for a while, being bolder than any other porcupine I've seen (which generally scoot quickly up trees when approached). It was still rather somber early in the morning, and drizzling rain. By the time the light got brighter the porcupine had gone up a tree to sleep the day away.

Nice one Daniel. Lot's for me to like here. The inquisitive stare is great and your low POV which you use to great effect in your bird photography all add. Streaky rain is excellent (noted your low SS to capture this) and background and foreground look great to me. Handling of tone and detail on the animal are up to your usual high standards. Nothing I'd change here. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Daniel - What a cute pose. I still have never seen a porcupine in the wild so I am jealous. I really like the placement in frame here and the low pov. The streaking rain adds to the image. You've got nice detail in the face, some of the blacks on the body are bordering on being choked. Overall, a lovely image of an animal not often posted.
Hi Daniel -- An absolute cracking image , loved the expression on its face and the rain steaks are adding to the frame. The low POV is working nicely in favour of the image . Superbly done .
