Overall this looks great, John... except for a funny green tinge to the white patch on the throat and adjacent background. Not sure what's going on there. Detail, background, foreground and tone all look nice.

Nice shot the colours look just a little warm to me, perhaps just the time of day? Is it perhaps just a little crunchy i.e. oversharpened?

Nice profile portrait. Sharp, and well balanced comp. The oof grass in front of the shoulder is unfortunate. Fantastic BG. Quite the unique rack alright! When I see colour casting off of vegetation onto whites, such as where Glenn points out, I sometimes like to use the sponge tool set to desaturate on it (no more than 8 to 10% flow)- it often works wonders.

Hi John - Interesting rack. The buck looks young, perhaps he took on someone too big. Good suggestions above to take an already nice image up a couple of notches.

Lovely portrait of this beautiful animal, John. He has a very unique rack indeed. Nice background too, I quite like the slightly saturated look here

Agree with Daniel above, the green colour cast is probably from the vegetation, easy fix if you like. The face does seem a bit over sharpened. Head angle is great and I especially like the reflection in the eye, subject looks so "alive". Tempted to flip this horizontally...

You are producing some lovely work, I truly enjoy viewing your images. This is pretty sharp for HH at 1/200s...I thought only Daniel could do that, LOL

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
