Taken a couple of weeks ago in Tobago. I visited the same place multiple days to get this type of photo. Most days the light is never perfect, from bad angle or too hash. Only one day it was overcast which helped diffused the light and I managed to get the best photos on the trip.

Fine capture, Raybel. Very nice detail. These beautifully colored hummingbirds are a joy to photograph, and you've captured this one perfectly. Great pastel shades in the BG, and excellent light quality.

Raybel, nice details, color, HA and BG. I would move it down a bit in frame though.

Simple yet beautiful. Love the soft colors and the light and the absolutely perfect pose and head angle. Were you at a feeder?

    Hi Artie,

Thank you for the comment and yes this was by a feeders. I noticed the birds will fight for this particular perch for some reason and after multiple attempts I manged to get the photo. Normally they will perch facing away and rarely look at me regardless how hard i tried to get their attention, until eventually this one gave me the good head angle.

  10. Thanks Arthur Morris thanked for this post
