I like the change from your usual golden light. This one has a dark and cold feel to it that somehow fits that death stare. Details are excellent and processing is perfect. Could you explain why you chose to crop the way you did please. I find that typically I leave about 1/3rd below and 2/3rds above the bird, but here you are pretty much 50/50. Not that one is better but nice to hear your thought process on it.
I really like these 'glance behind' poses, Arash. I can't fault anything here - this is up to your legendary standards. The detail is stunning and background beautiful. Great focus across the perch as well. This definitely has a dark, sombre mood about it. I could also see this working with a brighter look to the image. Composition works well for me. Always a pleasure to see your work.
Arash beautiful bird, nice details, HA, perch and BG. Only one nit, it seems to be a bit dark or underexposed.

Good pose, stunning BG, and your usual exquisite detail. I could imagine a version just a tad lighter.
Thanks all, Issac I wanted to place the perch diagonally. I also kept it a bit dark to be true to the scene which was also dark

Great image Arach, great pose by the bird with good perch and BG.
I love everything about this one but for the head angle. With over the shoulder poses I try for perfectly square to the back of the camera. Love the BKGR, the SH, and that you had enough d-o-f.
