    This nutria is so happy that flood waters have receded and he can have his favorite
    sleep perch back.....that old tractor tire that has been there for many years

    400mm, 1.4X tc, ISO 800, 1/250, f/8, cropped a bunch

    Great capture! I love the colors here. The sharp detail of the rat is great. Thanks for sharing.

    Some very nce light here on the rat... I like the comp. Good catchlight in the eye.

    I agree with the previous comments. I would suggest that moving left or right may have gotten a clearer BG behind his head.

    Robert, this is a situation where I have to shoot between the trees and shoreline coverage.
    But I am paying more attention to what is in bg....thanks for input

    BG stick covered. Light and expression are great and you didn't clip the tail! Hope you didn't get too beat up by the floods.

    The pose of the nutria is great, the lighting is dead on from what i can see, and I like the way it is framed.
