Simply gorgeous Jon. These types of small birds are my favourite and you've done this little cutie great justice here with the superb background, diagonal perch with autumn leaves and composition. I like the pose here too even though it may not appeal universally. Tone, colour and detail on the bird look excellent to my eye. Above all, the bird is really lovely. I enjoyed looking at this one a lot so thanks for sharing.

A lovely picture, Jonathan! The autumn colours are great. It looks like a painting. I know how fast these guys are and how hard it is to catch them on one place. Well done!

Well, it isn't a Marsh Harrier , Jon!

Nevertheless a fine shot, nice composition and colours - works well for me. I think you have already posted the best LTT image I have ever seen, some time back, so this has to work very hard.

My only wish is that the pose was to show off the tail more - but that is a different image!

    Thanks for sharing.
