An eland @ Masai Mara. Like other Antelopes, Elands have such distinctive horns!

Hi Sanjeev, nice DoF and I like the look back, the body pose illustrates well the physique of the subject. I like the framing, but the rock under the belly is a bit unfortunate as it's much brighter. Good sharpness, but I'm wondering if you could warm the WB a bit more?

Sanjeev a lovely shot I like the pose and composition. I get the impression there is too much blue in the image, it shows for me in the distant rocks the neck and the horns.

Hi Sanjeev -- This looks very nice , details and colours do look good and the framing works as well . I also think slight warmth might take this up a few notches. Nice image .

Sanjeev, all I did was warm the WB and tweak specific colours like the grass and warmth of the Eland. I'm not saying it's perfect, just hopefully a helpful steer??? It's still lovely image not often posted.

Hi Sanjeev - Nice to see an eland and the look back pose is good. Did it run after this? I found on my last trip that they usually ran as the vehicle stopped. Steve's rp has nicely addressed the tones and the color issues.

Thanks all. Steve, your RP is spot on, thanks for the guidance with WB & colour. Rachel, yes the Eland did run away after a few seconds.

Hi Sanjeev congrats ...at least you managed a couple of shots .
A special antelope ...these guys . Nice pose , clear view and a nicely separated BG . OP is somewhat " wrong " in the colors ...Steve has addressed this and showed a possible version .

Nice whole animal portrait, Sanjeev. The pose is great and lighting kind. Good to have a clear view against in a nice setting also. I noted the odd colour of the OP and tones on the animal look a little flat. Steve has tidied both up well in his repost. Detail looks very good to me. This is a frame I'd be pretty happy with.

Truly a lovely image Sanjeev, very well done with this!

Nice DoF and good IQ, well framed. I like that bit of environment surrounding the subject, altogether such a wonderful scene.

I would love to have this in my folders, went so many times to the Kalahari but only had a few opportunities to photograph this species. Great RP from Steve, I like the warmth and colours.

A pleasure to view Sanjeev, thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
