Kill me. Mouse or vole? Some NIK Detail Extractor/Tonal Contrast, about 30% each, would help the WHITEs. Super sharp. The look on the furry things face is beyond priceless.

A Cattle Egret with prey is super cool. Agree with Artie that the look on that poor rodent is excellent. To me the whites look blue. In addition to what Arite mentioned I would lower the saturation of the blues and also decrease the blacks in the whites a bit.

Hi Sasan, beautiful bird, wonderful interesting prey. I am with Artie and Isaac regarding the white feathers on the bird, on my display areas appear grey. I have encountered that in post processing when I tried to recover the highlights. There was a point where it changed from white to grey. Thank you for sharing.

Excellent shot great timing. Agree the plumage has great detail to be exploited, also agree remove blues. The contrast may be a tad high, the yellows and blacks are just clipped. Having said that a truly excellent shot.

Oh man, that prey item is just too good! Nice low angle too. I agree with the suggestions already offered.

Great shot. What is not to like here? I think everything worked great here together with the position of that poor rodent
