There are lots of these around right now as the migration passes through. They like sitting atop the pilings at the old Brunswick cannery at the mouth of the South arm of the Fraser R. here in s. Delta, B.C.---except when a harrier approaches---then they take off all atwitter. They are remarkably tolerant of my presence though. 7DII, Sigma 150-600mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM APO Macro, ISO 640, f/6.3, 1/2000, tripod.

I like the detail on the bird. Nice flight pose, Bob. I would be tempted to clone out the FG, as I find it a wee bit distracting, and make it all water. The BG looks nice with the bird.

Nice light and pose from the bird. I also echo Will's thoughts about cloning out the FG on the bottom left. A pretty tough bird to get in flight. TFS
