    Hi all,

A mallard taken this weekend at Cape May taken maybe an hourish before sunset with really nice light. Converted with Capture NX-D again as I'm still trying to find my footing there. In PS, NR on the BG, sharpened, cropped about 15%.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/2500 ISO 1100 f/6.3

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

Lovely light you got here and it shows well on the colours of the bird. I would think about raising the shadows on the breast/head and also at the tail side, and maybe try a tighter crop if the IQ holds.

Thanks Will, much appreciated. No problem to boost the shadows and tighten the crop a bit. Best,
