The Royal Terns had been quite busy the morning this image was taken and this one had just landedd. Then the early morning ritual of bathing began.

Very nice capture. It's such a beautiful bird too, the royal tern.

I got some flight shots and landings with the the royal tern when I was in Florida and went out with James and Blakes boat in April.

Great light and landing pose. I might have gone to ISO 200 since the shutter speed would still have been very high.

Veru nice! The whites are controlled perfectly, and the water droplet action frozen nicely.

Judy great composition and exposure. I love the ruffled feathers and the water drops and small tail splash.

Great capture Judy. Love the wing position. And I am impressed that you can handle the 600.

Very nice image. I liked the sharpness of the image, and the water droplets splashing and the nice wing position.
