    Hi all,

    A black skimmer taken this weekend at Cape May an 45 min or so before sunset. In post, cloned out a couple distracting bits in the BG, NR on the BG, sharpened.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/2000 ISO 1000 f/6.3

    Great eye level perspective on this fellow Alex with DOF right on for the entire front of the bird from beak tip to back of neck and shoulders. I love the late afternoon lighting too and the way the sand colour is picked up by the breast feathers.

    I have to agree with Bob. There is something that gives me the feel that the image is unbalanced.
