    I'm not sure if this qualifies as small-in-the-frame, but I liked the dried perch so I left the bird relatively small.

    D500, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 2000, 1/2000s @ f/6.3 manual.

    Bill,, I like the natural feel to this, the dried perch and green BG sets of this bird nicely.
    Nice details and light.

    Nice one, I like the bird's location in the frame and the great perch with a lot of character. The two toned BG is especially nice. The subtle catch light is good as well. TFS

    Nicely captured, Bill. I really like the dried perch, split green BG, and excellent feather detail. Well done.
