Hi John, nice shot. Good catch light in the eye and detail in the coat. You can take a bit off the top otherwise nice one.

I agree about taking some of the top. I like the water trail and nice detail on the coat.

Interesting to see this muskrat shot. The subject is clear and sharp and the exposure seems good. I like the ripples on the water and the water on the rat's back.

But I feel there is a lot of featureless water as well. So perhaps a tighter crop is the answer.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hello John,

First time for me to see a Muskrat. I am very fond of rodents so very pleased to find this thread from you tonight

I think the image can handle a bit of a tighter crop, what do you think? I also applied a slight linear curve in PSCC.

Love the visible eye and muzzle just above water, good timing! As well as those ripples. Techs look good too.

Thank you for sharing, much appreciated,

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi John - I like the swimming pose with the visible eye and the wake. Agree about going a bit tighter but watch out for too much pixel bashing affecting the IQ.

    TFS,
    Rachel
