    Hi all,

A willet taken a bit after sunrise at Sandy Hook from June. In post, cloned out a distracting HL under the bird and a second catchlight in the eye, light NR on the bird and then heavier on the BG. Cropped about 15-20%

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/1600 ISO 1400 f/5.6

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

You have captured a very nice sense of movement with this frame. I like the ying/yang of the forward left movement of the willet and the direction of the wave.
    Good POV.
I might be tempted to warm this image. The light looks brighter than what I would expect for "a bit after sunrise".
I could also see a crop that moved the bird up in the frame,

Thanks Gail -- much appreciated. I'll revisit the WB as well as the crop. Best,
