    Hi all,

Another local harrier frame, this was taken yesterday with a very dark overcast sky hence the ISO. In post, I moved the bird back slightly, cloned out a distracting bit in the upper right, light NR on the bird and then heavier on the BG. Out of curiosity I've been playing with Capture NX-D as a RAW converter so this was processed using that before moving to photoshop. This is full frame and hopefully is small enough to count for the monthly theme (if not, no problems).

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/1600 ISO 5600 f/5.6

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

Great work Alex. This one works better for me than your previous harrier post. Excellent for 5600 ISO as well. The background works well and I especially like the colours and tone of the grass. Detail, tone and colour on the bird also look great. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work, Alex. Good angle on the bird coming towards you, complimentary background with in focus grasses transitioning to the out of focus wood line. Thank you for sharing.
