    Default Glossy Ibis

From Ocean City Rookery in June. I didn't post this at the time, probably because the HA was less than ideal. But I liked the tapestry of colors when he banked into the early morning sun.

Wonderful colours on this Ibis Bill, and a great dorsal view. I agree that the HA isn't the classic, but given the colours on show I don't think its a deal breaker like it might be with a lesser subject

These birds are so wonderfully colored when the sun hits them just right. You have captured that perfectly. Sharp detail, great colors, I like the high key presentation. Thank you for sharing, Bill.

Also agree with your self critique -- HA isn't perfect but still a very nice frame. The colors are just amazing on this bird. I really like shooting at that rookery. TFS

The colours are quite remarkable, Bill, and you've done them justice here. Beautiful detail too. Is it my imagination or can I see a little noise on the bird, especially bill and legs? I'm not worried by the head angle which works fine for me. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful dorsal capture, Bill. Just amazing colors these birds have, and you've captured the iridescence also.
