    Default Male Purple Martin

I'm not sure why but this evening was the first time that I've even created a Purple Martin image.

    Canon 40D, Sigma 50-500mm @ 500mm on Bushhawk 320 D Pro, ISO 400, F7.1, 1/800sec

I need to get out and get some Martin images myself. Nice pose and simplistic composition. I think that you could have used a little more exposure to bring out some more detail in those gorgeous dark wings.

    Hi Stephen,

Lovely pose. However there are few things I would like to point out.

There is a good amount of noise which can be removed with a NR software.

You could use a little more space behind the tail and perhaps a little sharper.

    Was this a big crop?
