Hi Gio - I like this a lot and the bits of leaves floating through the air add a lot. Nice fall colors. Just watch the blacks in the trunk itself. Interesting settings in the field. I probably would have gone for a bit more dof and not sure you needed 1/4000 to freeze the action. You easily could have raised ISO to compensate if necessary. Did the ele only have one tusk or is it the angle of shooting?

    TFS,
    Rachel

    Hello Gio,
You really grabbed my attention with this one, great thinking here, very well done See if you can try a version where the trunk is more visible, by that I mean less dark? I want to see those wrinkles, those textures must come through.

Very original, I like it. Nice composition too. Love to see you play, try a B/W too when you have the time, could be interesting

Thank you so much for sharing,

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Nice to have a fresh way of presenting subject matter, Giovanni. I like what you have done although I'm not sure about the B&W conversion at this point. The leaves and dry vegetation 'frozen' in mid air really lifts this image. Ideally, I would hope for a less busy background to really lift this shot but you used the circumstances that you were in very well. Thanks for something new and different.

Hi Gio -- Loved the concept and execution as well , i prefer the colour version more. A bit high on contrast and those finer details are lacking in the trunk as result of this. A bit more tonal separation from the BG might help in popping the trunk a bit more. But all in all a very nice concept , enjoyed viewing this one. TFS !
