Hi all , wonder what you think about that angle of the Bison .
Herd was moving one after the other over one ridge ....so i stepped ahead , and waited for them to pass me . But they took a slightly different route i expected them to do ....so i had to take another option .
Image taken in mid afternoon

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous thread
Not sure what I like most, your bisons or your seals... I guess both
Love the image design here as well as this nice 3D feel, perfect DoF by the way. A well exposed and thoughtfully processed image, superb colours and textures and a nice velvety look from this handsome animal. Image quality is great for ISO 10.000.
This ticks all the boxes for me so I will disappoint you - no nitpicking tonight (much as I would like to).
Hi Gabriela thanks so much ....good that i gave you opportunities to make decisions .....
Will give you new seals in dec ...or older ones before , you want one in the next days ?
Not disappointed ....happy to hear the ticking in the box !!!!
Have a lovely weekend ...i am busy at work tomorrow
I am off tomorrow so hopefully back on BPN. Not sure it is true but someone told me we might have no electricity tomorrow - apparently some maintenance work scheduled by Eskom. And I have a meeting at mid-day, work related
Seems you can't make any mistakes with these Bison, Andreas. This frame looks excellent. As usual, beautifully rendered tone and colour on the animal and lovely crisp detail. Background and foreground with their muted colours look very good too. Only thing that puzzles me with this shot is the sky fading to white across the bison's back. Not sure what was going on there.
Hi Andreas - I think the diagonal adds an element of interest and makes the image a bit more unusual. I too see what Glenn sees in the sky and more so noticed it in the fur of the bison. The head and front quarters of the body are richer in tones and have more depth of color than the hind quarters. It may have been that way due to the light but it jumped out at me.
