    What a lovely capture, Tim. The colors and exposure are awesome. It's amazing how big the hummer looks when it is this large in the frame. It didn't occur to me until you mentioned that it was on a wildflower. Love the way its tootsies are gripping the stem.

    Thanks Marina, in the spring back behind our wetlands there are patches of these yellow daisy type flowers and the hummers just love them.

    I think this is a magnificent frame Tim. The colours and detail on the bird are really excellent and your background is a close to perfect as it can get. I like your framing and composition here too - beautifully simple but effective. Hard to find anything not to like in this one.

    Can't argue with any of the above Tim. Amazing how small these guys are. You got a really nice BG in nice light and its great how the colors on the bird just work so well with the BG and perch. TFS

    WOW, really great shot, love the composition and the detail is amazing especially the pollen on the birds face.

    This is one of your nicest posts IMHO.
    Love the BG, the simple perch, the IQ and the light.Love the yellows on the bird and the flower. Very complimentary.
