I was going through some old files from Florida last year and found this.
    Canon 1DX
    600mm
    SS 1/2500 f7.1 ISO 500
PP-Crop to 80%FF. Usual LR sliders and in CS5 : levels, DE/TC at 15% ,NR to BG, burned the whitish area below wing and dodged blackish area behind legs.
Comments and critiques always appreciated and learned from with thanks,
    Gail

You did well with all of that, and particularly the white of course. Interesting looking bird with a rat's tail!

Great pose and detail. Techs look great -- I always find myself too short on the DOF with these long necked birds in flight. Nice light and BG and love the water falling. No nits from me. TFS

Beautiful frame Gail - and superbly composed and rendered. Contrast between bird and background, pose and drops from the legs are all excellent. No nits from me and wish it was mine. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the lift off pose and the wing position. Like the water droplets as well. The background seems a touch dark to me. Also wish we had a slightly better head angle.
