Nice colours and details, i a m not sure why you underexposed, if anything I would have overexposed.

I would suggest not a good idea because by doing this you would increase underexposure in the subject which is not a good idea, it increases noise. I would have probably started at +1/3 and checked the histogram, if necessary gone to 2/3, then I would have darkened the background in PS if that is what I wanted. I almost always shoot to the right to optimise image quality.

Great bird, great pose, great perch. Jonathan makes a good point, but whatever you did here works very nicely to my eye.

Excellent image. Great light, and I like the layered feathers. My only wish is for the perch to extend beyond the frame at right, but works as is as well. There are some highlights that would have risked being blown had you exposed more than you did.

Excellent image quality. Bird looks perfect. I like the dark feel of this one against that background. I love this pic.

Fabulous looking frame Sasan. The light looks real good, as does the feather detail on the bird. Love the pose and HA, and the perch. The BG colours show the bird real well. Good work.

Simply stunning shot Sasan. It's hard to imagine how you could do any better than this. The light, the perch, the background all fantastic. The only thing I'd revisit if it was mine in the composition. I'd have the bird just a touch more to the left and slightly lower.
