I got out to Circle B Bar Reserve this morning, it has been closed since the hurricane because of flooding and clean-up work. I captured this image of a Red-shouldered Hawk. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Great fluff-up pose Joe. I really like how you've kept the bird's colours so soft and muted, fitting right in with this BG.

Great shot! You got everything in focus and the colours are fantastic. I'd run some noise reduction on the background.

The wind action on the feathers is pretty neat. I hope you took some verticals as well?

Great bird, great perch and like the feather fluff. Best of all, the apparent eye contact!

Looking good Joe. Love the blown up feathers. Very nice pose and HA. I also like the perch.
