    I captured this image along the beach on the north side of Ft. De Soto County Park in Pinellas County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 80-400m F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED shot at 330mm
    1/2000 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 400 AWB, camera supported by a monopod
    Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC 2017, double processed the image
    Cropped slightly for composition and presentation

    I still like this bird:). Nice walking pose, intense look, light, colors. I feel it could use some room above and maybe less below, though I understand if you wanted to include the wave. A little head turn towards us would not hurt, but I think this image works as it is. TFS.

    Joe, nice shot of this dark morph, nice details I also would like to see a little bit more room on top but that's just me

    Fabulous detail on the bird Joe. I really like the striding pose. The sea in the BG blending with the FG makes for a lovely looking image.

    I agree with the comments. A bit more room at the top would be nice.
