Recently there has been a rare visitor to our local wetlands here in So. CA a Tricolored Heron, finally after days of searching I finally
was able to find it and get a few pictures, and to our surprise a second one was spotted nearby. They must have traveled here do to
hurricane Harvey a few weeks ago, last time there was one here was 2008.

    Thanks for looking.

Would have liked to get lower but do to restrictions/area at the wildlife refuge it wasn't possible.

Love the pose, and the colours on the bird. Very nice feather detail and the raised foot adds.
