It was fun and challenging photographing a small flock of these that were feeding (very) actively within some evergreens. I got lots of images of beautiful, but bare, cone-laden branches...but a few of them actually featured a kinglet on posing them - this one being one of my favorites.

Daniel, a delight to see some 'little bush birds' as I like to call them. They are my favourite but as you note can be fast-movers and hard to capture. I don't know this species but it looks like a lovely little cutie. You've handled the strong light well here. In my experience, many small birds like this don't tend to venture out into the open very often though. The cones and setting are great too, and well framed. Thanks for sharing and look forward to some more like this.
