    I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC 2007, used the Adjustment Brush in Lightroom to burn selected areas of feathers, used the Patch Tool and Content Aware Fill to fix selected areas of feathers

    Hi Joe. A nice pose, perch and background. It's tough to get the exposure of the epaulet and the black plumage when this bird is in the sun. To my eye, you did very nicely.

    Joe, exceptional result. This must be one hard bird to photograph and process with all that black and a patch of red and orange. Keeping details in the black without blowing the red is an excellent achievement, especially in full sun. Background is great and your framing works. Thanks for sharing.
