Too cool they look like they are about to bite each others heads off. Great frame.

Brilliant capture, Frank!
Wonderful action here and some nice detail and colours, love the tonality.
Well exposed, maybe just check the white on the muzzle of the character on the LHS of the frame, looks a tad bright? Also, I would have loved a bit more at the bottom of the frame.
It must have been great fun watching those foxes interact. They really stand out nicely against the dark BG, love the expression there from both as well as visible teeth (they look like little pins and probably bite sore!)
I took great pleasure viewing, thank you so much for sharing
Kind regards,

Nice action ...contrast a wee bit high for my taste

Terrific action shot with a good contrasting background and lighting on the foxes. I don't mind the contrast but the framing is not quite right, needs more room for the invisible bit of tail on the left hand animal.

Fantastic action shot, Frank. You were very fortunate or had extremely good foresight to get this shot. I'm happy with the framing and composition here and great to have them stand out so well against and nice dark background as you have here. IQ, tones and colours look great to me although I would tone down the white on the left fox's upper jaw. Overall, a superb shot.

Hi Frank - A great action shot, well captured. Yes, a bit more room below for the left fox and toning down the whites of the jaw would improve an already excellent image.
It would be great to have your thoughts on other people's wildlife images. As you know, we recommend commenting on 3-5 other wildlife images each time you post one of your own.

Great timing on this shot Frank, and a fantastic shooting angle has really pushed this up a couple of notches. I agree with a little more below if you have it, and, although this appears sharp enough here, I'd recommend a faster shutter speed for the action if you have a similar experience which may give a larger proportion of keepers.
Excellent frame though

Hi Frank -- Its a fabulous moment , well timed and superbly captured . I also agree with the critiques but one thing i found unusual is the BKG , very smooth especially at f 6.3 and T.C. A bit unnatural for my liking . A fine moment though , enjoyed viewing this image .

Great behavioural/interaction aspect here Frank and I love the rich colours, but the application of either NR or a blur to the BKG I find jars too much, at ISO640 just leave it, the image IMHO would be far better.
